About the role:
The Junior Financial Controller is involved in the process of the project lifecycle in order to control and secure the project financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
The Junior Financial Controller is involved in the process of the project lifecycle in order to control and secure the project financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments and gross margins.
- Analyse budget deviations, identify financial risks and support corrective actions
- Support Project Managers with financial reviews and forecasts.
- Assist with project budgeting, tender analyse and financial reporting,
- Review Purchase Orders and Invoice allocations against approved budgets.
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures and contribute to process improvements.
- Support internal and external project audits when required, ensuring accurate financial documentation.
- Perform administrative and operational tasks related to the project financial management.
A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES US
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial controlling, project finance or financial analysis.
- Experience in EU Projects is an advantage.
- Excel, Power BI knowledge and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in ERP systems (Maconomy is an advantage).
- Be analytical, proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative.
- Based in Barcelona.
