Our department Business Development Support is now looking to recruit an assistant to work within the department.
Responsibilities:
Conduct ongoing research to uncover information on new and existing projects across a number of different channels
Provide the GOPA Group companies with standardized market information on upcoming projects and trends
Initial assessment of programming documents and extracting of useful information to be shared within the group
Conducting research upon request on specific donors, countries and topics
Provide background information on specific projects
Preparing reports with strong attention to detail and ensuring data accuracy
Actively working and ensure compliance for all department’s tools (SharePoint applications etc.)

Qualifications and profile
Recent graduate or entry level career
Ability to conduct market research and analyze data to identify business opportunities
Ability to analyze data, identify trends and structure the information in a comprehensive way
Confident handling of the common MS Office products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
Ability to think in processes and systems and an affinity for IT systems
Proactive, outgoing and communicative personality and capacity for independent decision-making and taking initiative
Conscientious and systematic way of working
Full proficiency in English and further language skills i.e. French, Spanish, German are a plus

Demonstrable strength to work reliably and accurately
Ability to keep track of your tasks even under high work load and to meet tight deadlines
