A JOB THAT INSPIRES YOU
Job Purpose In order to contribute to its international expansion, GOPA PACE is seeking for one Event Manager to join our office in Romania.
Key responsibilities Event Manager tasks will include:
Management of projects: monitoring of the activities, liaison with the experts, mobilization of short-term expertise, administrative management etc.;
Contact and negotiate with suppliers for different activities of the projects, such as conference/seminar/workshops;
Participate in the overall organization of communication events in different fields of expertise;
Researching and expanding our network of local partners and experts;
Participating in the development of creative and efficient project management and event organisation;
Preparing the events concept and organization planning, in accordance with the client’s requirements;
Designing the budget and presenting the price offer to the client;
Solving the technical needs of the event, designing and managing auxiliary services;
Elaborating strategic planning and event organizer and ensures the smooth running of all events;
Management of venues: identifying, selecting and establishing the location;
On-site assistance/ coordination of the events;
Maintaining the relationship with the client before, during and after the event;
Ensuring the smooth running of the events;
Updating and improving company databases.

Qualifications and profile
At least 5 years of experience in conceptualising & organising events;
Ability to set goals and a determination to achieve them;
Ability to interact with people and establish good relationships;
Perfect oral and writing skills in English & Romanian;
Capacity to work within a team;
Capacity for independent decision-making and taking initiative;
Computer skills MS Office (Excel Word Power Point), Internet, and database;
Dynamic, good capacity of relationship and interaction with people high level of commitment and integrity.
