Project Management, including:
General technical and financial backstopping, monitoring project budgets while taking into account the formal requirements of the contracting organizations
Direct counterpart for the project team and donor organizations
Close cooperation with the consortium and local partners
Further develop the technical expertise of GOPA AFC in digital finance (digital payments, digital financial services, financial inclusion, digital economy, etc.)
Overseeing and managing a team of consultants
Provision of advisory and consultancy in digital finance, when applicable
Project Acquisition Coordination, including:
Technical offers and the selection of project staff
Organizing and conducting fact-finding missions as required
Technical and/or Methodical Expertise, contributing to the development of tools, prepare presentations or articles etc., as applicable to strengthen AFC’s competitive position and network

A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES US
Advanced university degree (masters or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, International Relations or Business Administration required
At least 5 years professional experience in international development cooperation
At least 5 years experience in either management or consultancy in digital finance activities (advisory and / or investments)
First-hand experience in the consulting sector and/or in financial institutions (banks, NBFIs, MFIs, etc.) would be desirable
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: French and Arabic
Excellent communication skills, diplomacy, ability to work in multicultural environment and positive teamwork attitude
Capability to pursue set KPIs self-driven within the usual project constraints (budget, period)
Good time management, efficiency of work and excellent (self)-organizational skills
Strong capability with the commonly used MS application and tools
